Fears to Fathom is an episodic psychological horror game where each episode unveils a short story narrated by the ones who survived. Episode 3: Carson House. As a member of the translation team, my tasks include: • Translation of dialogues, newspaper articles, text messages, menus, and tutorials. • Contextual analysis and adaptation of slang, jokes, and unique terms to ensure an accurate and equivalent translation without altering the original meaning of the source text. • Translated wide-ranging content types, ensuring clarity and cultural relevance, while following stylistic guidelines for dialogues, articles, and instructional materials. • Conducted quality assurance checks and proofreading to identify and correct grammatical, spelling, and translation errors. • Research to learn the specific terminology of the source texts, avoiding translation errors.
